Most STI panels test what’s easy. Physician-ordered testing follows your actual exposure.
Urine and blood alone can miss infections in the throat or rectum. Shameless Care uses physician-ordered, site-specific testing so your panel reflects where you were actually exposed — not just what is easiest to collect.

“ I started Shameless Care because too many testing companies stop at urine and blood and call it complete. Real answers mean testing where you were actually exposed — not just where it is convenient to collect.

Why panels vary so much
Same infections. Completely different testing sites.
Chlamydia and gonorrhea can infect the throat or rectum. If a site is not collected, it is not tested. You deserve to know what your panel actually covers before you order.
01
Urine-Only Testing
Catches genital infections but leaves the throat and rectum untested.
02
Assumption-Based Panels
Built around what is easy to collect instead of where exposure happened.
03
Site-Specific Testing
Built around actual oral, anal, genital, and blood exposure.
Who usually chooses what
A rough map of which panel fits your situation.
Testing should follow exposure, not a one-size-fits-all default. A physician reviews your intake and orders appropriate testing.

Most people are not looking for a scorecard. They just want to know what is going on and what to do next.
A licensed physician reviews your intake, orders appropriate laboratory testing, reviews your results, and may provide treatment when appropriate. Collection materials are provided only for physician-ordered laboratory testing and are not sold as standalone diagnostic devices.

FAQ
The short answers.
Are these tests accurate?
Yes, but accuracy depends on testing the right places. Chlamydia and gonorrhea can infect the throat or rectum without showing up in urine. If a site is not collected, it is not tested. No test is perfect, but site-specific testing gives your physician a clearer answer.
How long does delivery and testing take?
Your kit ships only after a Shameless Care physician reviews your medical intake. Review usually happens within an hour but may take up to 24 hours. Kits typically ship within 24 hours after medical clearance. Most results are ready about 2–3 days after the sample reaches the lab.
Is collecting the samples painful?
Urine collection is painless. Blood collection uses a lancet that most people describe as a quick pinch. Oral and anal samples use simple swabs you collect at home by following the included instructions.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. Collection materials ship in discreet packaging with only the laboratory's name on the outside.
Why physician-ordered testing instead of a standalone kit?
Shameless Care provides physician-directed telehealth care. A licensed physician reviews your intake, orders appropriate laboratory testing, reviews your results, and may provide treatment when appropriate. Collection materials are not sold as standalone diagnostic devices. We do not bill insurance directly, but FSA and HSA debit cards are accepted.
